Good Neighbour Consulting

Finger on the Map

Good Neighbour Consulting works with municipalities, organizations, and community groups to ensure vulnerable populations are included in disaster and emergency management planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.

We work with you to design a consultation plan that fits your needs, goals, and budget. We do not work off templates or ready-made plans - everything we do is unique to your organization or group. Whether you are looking for specific target-oriented advice or comprehensive wrap-around support, we will help you meet your objectives and deliver on success. We emphasize participatory processes and community engagement, meaning community members are often involved in research, planning, and decision-making, where appropriate.

We are available to meet in-person in the Calgary area, or remotely across Canada.

Our introductory consultation is free - book below or send us an email to find out how we can help you help your community.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Stoney Nakoda Nations: Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney and Tsuut’ina Nation. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta Districts 5 and 6. This sacred gathering place, at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers, provides us with an opportunity to engage in and demonstrate leadership on reconciliation. Thank you for your enthusiasm and commitment to work with us on the lands of Treaty 7 territory.
